This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a self-contained ASD classroom with 8 students and 2 paraprofessionals. As every school year ends, I prepare for the next one by purchasing items that supports their interests. This past year, my students loved to paint and I need to replenish the supplies that were used. I have more artistic students joining my classroom this fall and I want to be prepared for them! Some of my musical instruments are broken from use, and I would like to give my students a larger variety of musical instruments.
