Help me give my students an amazing virtual experience that will expand what we have been learning in the classroom about colors, shapes, and all about us. We would utilized the magnetic shape blocks to enhance their creativity.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students want to participate in a virtual trip. Our students will stay in their classrooms and will join virtually with one of the museum representatives from the museum in zoom (no in-person trip due to Covid restrictions) Our students will learn virtually about shapes, colors, and patterns from the Museum at Eldridge Street’s beautiful collection of stained glass windows, students will explore their history and function online.
Please help us make a memorable experience for our students and their families.
After learning about the collection, students will be encourage to make their own shape creations using the magnetic foam shapes. With your help, our students will make real-life connections and will learn about our community as well. Thank you for your support.
