My Project

Covid-19 impacted everyone in one way or another. My students who struggle with social emotional and life skills really suffered during this time. The impact of Covid was difficult as students with disabilities learn to maintain their expression skills as well as the life skills needed to be successful in their community. The materials we are asking for are geared towards providing students with the opportunity to create art for their friends and family. They are able to express themselves as well as improve on their fine motor skills. The students also work on a coffee cart selling coffee to teachers at school, and the water warmer, shelves, and coffee cup organizer will increase their efforts to work in the coffee cart. Students have a class fish who is in need of new pebbles so they can work on care taking skills. Arts and crafts is such an important aspect for the kids as we will create and laminate their art. These items will help our students soar post covid.
