My Students
My first grade students are so enthusiastic about learning! They are kind, caring and extremely hard working. Their perseverance impresses me after a challenging year of remote learning.
They are excited to be back in the classroom learning and working together as a first grade community!
My Project
I am a first year teacher and still collecting materials for my classroom. The various flashcards will be perfect for literacy centers and choice time. The games will be great activities for my students to work together and learn how to take turns. The play dough and play dough tools will be used for various things such as building letters and numbers as well as a calming sensory activity for the end of the day. I am really excited about the multicultural markers as they will allow most/all of my students to find skin tone that reflects them. Representation matters!
These materials will greatly impact my first graders learning experience!
