ARRRG! Rug Mates

My students need an area rug for us to organize ourself when we meet on the carpet to discuss our stories. We also use the carpet area to have student leaders read to the other students.

My Students

I work with students who are Bilingual and Special Education. We are in need of resources that will help them to be better learners and to help them to organize their work.

My class is a 3rd grade classroom in the city of Cleveland.

We are in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District where most of my families are in a low Socio-Economic class. I try to provide my students with materials that will better their education. They are great learners!!

A Way to Help Organize 3rd Grade

A place to feel Welcome!!!!

I have requested a rug to organize my students during our morning meeting time. Where we can talk and discuss the skills and lesson activities for the day. The carpet area is a great way to have our students come together in a more personal and collaborative way to have group discussions. Students feel more involved when they are sitting in close proximity with the other students as well as with me! I have also requested dry erase boards for small group work in the carpet area as well.
