Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of my project is to provide my students with books that will enable them to be informed citizens. I strive to improve their cultural awareness and to provide them with resources and techniques for their social-emotional well-being. These books will always be available to my students during class since I encourage my students to participate in independent reading time.
I want to fill my classroom library with books that cover a wide range of subjects so that all my students can always find something they are interested in. By increasing book availability, teachers can pique students' interest and curiosity, leading to student self-motivation that will further expand their general knowledge.
