Are We Going To Have Buses To Go To The Field Museum?

My students need two buses in order to go on their field trip.

My Students

Can you imagine getting a free field trip, but not having enough funds for buses to go? Well, that is our reality right now! My students are so excited to go on the field trip, but don't know how we are getting there. My students shouldn't have to worry about this at all!

My students go to school on the Westside of Chicago.

They come from low-income homes that want the best for their children, but don't have the resources to assist in their education. They really help in every capacity that they can in order to make sure that their child is learning all that he/she can. They just don't have resources to aid in further developing their child's learning.

My Project

Obtaining the two buses needed for the field trip will allow the students to know that they can learn outside of the four walls in the classroom. They will get an opportunity to have their first field trip to the Field Museum, which will allow them to explore and learn all the things the Field Museum has to offer. They will be able to come back to the classroom with knowledge, which they couldn't have received by just listening from a book. The students would be able to have first-hand knowledge from being able to explore and learn all the things in the museum by seeing, touching as well as hearing.

By donating to this project you will be allowing the students to get a chance of a life time by going on their first field trip.

My students don't have the opportunity to go visit the museums with their families due to lack of resources, but they should be given a chance at school to be able to go on a field trip. My students shouldn't be worried about how they are going to get to the Field Museum, but be extremely happy that they will be going. Please donate to our first field trip!
