These students are excited to learn every day. They have one year under their belt so now they can jump right in to learning. They come from all around the world and have a variety of life styles and learning needs. Our school is very diverse with a high percentage of Title One students.
These students are curious about the world and how everything works around them.
They are constantly striving to do their best and learn as much as possible! They love building and creating things. This will be a full class of 28 students this year so it is going to be a fun-filled exciting year of learning.
My Project
Last year I had one set of Magna-Tiles and the students couldn't get enough of them. They were constantly building new creations and were always so excited to show me and have me take their picture. However, with the limited number of tiles and 28 students, only a few people were able to participate. My hope is that more students will be able to participate and build greater structures and creations.
Magna-Tiles allow for team building and creative problem solving and design.
The opportunities are endless of what they can create. Now that I am teaching first grade this year, I am excited to challenge them more with their building and planning stages. These are a great tool to use for learning and students absolutely love them.
