This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Aquascaping Student Club relies on donations and receives no funding besides the hours the school allocates for the club. The students enjoy creating designs and learn the responsibility of caring for living creatures as well as various concepts related to science and the natural world.

All of the materials (aquarium kit, skimmer, etc.) with be used for the purposes of this club and additionally provide social emotional support for the entire school population.

The students are able to demonstrate a number a skills through participation of this club including leadership abilities, planning, communication skills, and conscientiousness.

I very much hope to receive this funding so the school student community can continue to thrive, grow, and develop over time.
