Aquarium Supplies

Help me give my students gravel, aquarium decorations, filters, an aquarium light, and fish food to set up our fish tank.

My Project

My students have been very excited about setting up our aquarium. We have the tank, filter, and some gravel but need other essential supplies. The gravel, plants, and aquarium decorations will add beauty to the tank and provide places for the fish to hide. One of the decorations I've chosen for the tank (a model Titanic) will also be exciting for my students since I have some who have done extensive research on the Titanic.

The aquarium will support the development of our classroom community in a few ways.

Students will learn the responsibilities of caring for an animal. Setting up the tank, choosing names for the fish, and caring for them will be a way for students to connect and bond as a class. The aquarium will also provide opportunities for my students to observe and learn about fish.
