Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students come to school daily to learn new information and grow wise. I feel that for many students, the hands on and real life world experiences are understood more and remain with them much longer. Anything I can do to help my students become excited about school and break through the negative barriers is a positive. The virtual presenters from the Aquarium of the Pacific know how to engage the students and love their job.
This makes it easy for them to grasp the students attention and keep them interested in the event.
I know they will love this experience and hopefully inspire some of them to consider a career in science/marine biology.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
