My Project

My students are hands-on learners, like most nine and ten year olds, and they love asking questions and looking for new places to apply their learning. We are fortunate enough to have a garden program at our school, and an aquaponics system in our classroom would be a perfect companion to their work outside in the garden.

Students are always looking for ways that their learning translates into real-world experience, and this will give them the chance to see that learning in action.

They have a HUGE love for science, specifically plants and animals, and this system is the perfect way to introduce them to many branches of science that come together to function in the system.
