My Students
My students are excited! That's the best way to describe the little minds that walk into my room every day. They are excited to read, excited to explore, excited to share, and most of all excited to learn.
Excitement is what drives the mind to want to learn.
With such a strong desire to explore and learn, my students are never left feeling bored. They are engaged and enthusiastic about our classroom and their energy is contagious to all who enter our room.
My Project
Having 3 more iPads in my classroom is going to provide my students the opportunity to fully participate in the experiences that technology can bring to the classroom. By adding 3 more iPads I will finally have my devices at a 2 to 1 ratio. This improves the frequency of opportunities to respond(OTR) and will excite the students and provide ownership. Each pair of students will be able to work together to create projects with stop/go motion where they can display their comprehension, create, write, and publish their own writings into a book, and practice daily reading and math fluency.
