Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school celebrates diversity. We accept people as they are. We want students to know they are accepted and want them to be proud of their cultural traditions. We want to celebrate people as they are.

Our district encourages everyone to accept people as they are.

All people are welcome, all sizes, all colors, all cultures, all genders, all orientations, all beliefs, all religions, all ages, all people are welcome. This project includes magnetic book markers and pens.

Our event will be great! Every book marker in this project will be given away. We will give the book markers that have inspirational messages. Those magnetic book markers say, "you got this, you are the best, be brave, and never let go of your dream." The other magnetic book markers showcase beautiful images of New York, London, and Greece. We will give away the magnetic book markers that depict landscapes with a beautiful night skies, planets, nebula and colorful butterflies. The images in these magnetic book markers are beautiful and breath taking!

We will use the pens in this project and post it notes that we already have in class to make a visual display of messages that encourage people to accept people as they are and to appreciate beauty. We want students to recognize that people are beautiful and our planet is beautiful too. Students will reflect on the importance of accepting others as they are. Students will get an inspiring magnetic book marker with an inspiring message or an inspiring image. Students will use the book markers at school or in their home. Hopefully, when students see the book marker they will remember to value diversity, accept others and appreciate beauty. Thank you for supporting my students interest in celebrating diversity and appreciating beauty.
