My Students

I want my students to be well prepared for life in the 21st century. Technology has become an increasingly important part of our children's future, and I don't want my students to miss out on this vital part of education just because our district lacks funding. We need your help.

My second grade class is made up of a wonderfully diverse group of 24 students from a range of backgrounds.

Another 11 children come to me for additional language services each day. All of these children are eager learners who will appreciate the opportunity to use iPads in the classroom on a regular basis. I know that my students will treat the items with respect and I expect that the iPads will be used for years to come.

My Project

My students need three iPads and two childproof cases. I have taken several classes on 21st century technology in the classroom. The possibilities for learning using iPads are almost unlimited. There are numerous iPads apps that will allow me to provide differentiated instruction for my students. We will have access to great language resources such as Lexia and Raz-kids, plus many exciting games that teach and reinforce language acquisition, math concepts, coding, and creativity. I know that the use of these iPads will have a significant, positive impact on the children in my classroom.

I truly care about each and every one of my students.

I believe that every child in my class has the ability to become a leader in the decades to come. To do so, however, they need not only dedicated and caring teachers, but also modern technology. With your help I can provide the technology that will give them an early start toward a successful life in the 21st century. Thank you for considering our project.
