it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious and love to read. I want to do a unit where we will study the well-known children's author, Katherine Applegate.
I am requesting 25 copies of the book Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate.
Crenshaw is a story about a boy who has struggled with homelessness and hunger and has a cat that only he can see. I will read the book with the class and each student will have their own copy of the book. Students will be able to underline important passages and make notes in the margins of the book.
