Help me give my students access to casting apple products directly to Apple TV
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Ekk's classroom raised $270

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students walk through the door each morning full of energy, ready to learn, and excited to see what knowledge they will gain for the day. I make sure to come to school ready to match that energy.
I teach at a Title I school in southern California where almost all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Eighty-five percent of the students qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch.
Despite the many associated hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their very best which I expect of each of them. They want to be in school because they want to learn, and it's my pleasure to make this happen.
My Project
This project further allows our classroom to keep up with the digital classroom.
This project is intended to cast teacher modeling and student work to an Apple TV.
This allows freedom within the classroom without having cords snake all around the room. The benefit is that it also allows students to cast their work quickly without needing to worry about hardware connections. It also allows more mobility within the room. This way groups and I, as a teacher, do not have to stand near the projector to stay connected.
Because of our district’s firewall, a safe digital environment is insured but enhanced with the freedom to expand the digital capabilities of our classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
