This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of diverse fearless individuals that aren't afraid to take on the rigorous challenges of mathematics. They're creative and willing to explore and discover the many intricacies of Algebra. They love using technology to support their learning.

My students are team players and understand that when they come together, they can solve whatever problem they may encounter.

They enjoy working together on activities, assessments, and homework. Lastly, they like to reflect on their learning to find ways to improve.

My Project

I am fortunate to have a classroom that has three screens. It is a bigger classroom so it is difficult for some of my students to only see one projector screen. With the Apple TVs, my students will be able to see the lessons from anywhere they are seated as there is one projector and TVs mounted on either side of the room.

My students will also benefit from these Apple TVs because they will be able to airplay their devices for presentations.

These presentations will include mathematical models that they will produce on websites such as Desmos! They may also share PowerPoint slides or any projects that they make in my math class!
