Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our talented and hardworking band students deserve access to professional tools that will elevate their musicianship and prepare them for future opportunities. A MacBook Pro will provide them with industry-standard software like Finale and Sibelius for composing, Logic Pro and GarageBand for recording, and SmartMusic for individualized practice.
How Will This Resource Help?
This resource will allow students to:
- Create and arrange music tailored for our ensemble.
- Record and analyze performances for self-assessment and growth.
- Learn digital music production and gain real-world skills.
- Engage in interactive learning that enhances practice and performance.
Project Goals
Our goal is to integrate music technology into our classroom to improve engagement, foster creativity, and prepare students for college and careers. This project will allow students to develop advanced musical skills while exploring the creative possibilities of digital music.
