My Project
Creating a working Apple device with AI integration for 6th graders is an exciting way to show how technology can make everyday life smarter and more fun. Apple devices, like iPhones and iPads, already use AI in things like Siri, which helps you set reminders and answer questions just by talking to your phone. In this project, students could learn how AI can make their devices more helpful—like teaching Siri to understand more commands or using the camera to recognize faces and objects. They could also explore how AI helps personalize their devices, such as recommending apps, and music, or even adjusting settings based on their habits. Using simple tools like Swift Playgrounds and learning about Apple's Core ML, students would be able to explore how AI works in a fun, interactive way, while also seeing how their devices can learn and adapt to their needs. This hands-on experience would not only teach them about AI but also inspire them to think creatively about how technology can be used to improve daily life.
