AP Students Need AP Study Guides

My students need a variety of AP study materials like books and flash cards to prepare for the AP Environmental Science Exam in May.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. R.'s classroom raised $1,139

This project is fully funded

I teach Advanced Placement (AP) Environmental Science in an urban high school in Missouri. I am lucky to teach highly motivated, extremely intelligent students who dream about attending college and changing the world. These students work tirelessly to learn the challenging concepts presented in AP Environmental Science. All AP courses are approved through the College Board, an organization that ensures all courses with the AP designation meet stringent requirements. At the end of the course, students take a national, standardized exam. Students who score exceptionally well on the exam are rewarded with college credit. By earning college credit while still in high school, my students can save money on tuition, take upper level classes earlier, and potentially graduate ahead of schedule.

In order to give my students the best chance to receive a high score on the AP Exam, they must be adequately prepared. This means extra study time, repeated drills of practice questions, and full-length practice tests. My students also need to learn general test-taking strategies like eliminating answer choices in order to be successful on this difficult test.

My students would greatly benefit from a variety of AP Environmental Science exam preparation materials. "5 Steps to a 5" and "AP Achiever" books will be loaned out to students for the remainder of the school year. Students can work through the review exercises and take practice tests to prepare for the exam. These exam preparation books will be extremely useful during Spring Break to help students review and study even though we aren't in class. The other exam preparation books will be used to help me create practice tests. Students need to practice standardized exam strategies and learn to manage their time before taking the real AP Environmental science exam in May. These exam preparation guides are a valuable resource because they provide thousands of practice questions, study tips and tricks, and even full-length exams! The flashcards will help students learn vocabulary and concepts as well as provide a way to review for the AP Environmental Science exam.

By purchasing this software, you will ensure that my students are prepared for the AP Environmental Science Exam. This will help my students get into college.
