This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Social Studies at a high poverty school in Georgia. My students are incredibly bright and very interested in Psychology; they just do not have the resources available at other schools.
While the county has provided our basic textbooks, we are seriously in need of additional help. These books will allow the students to examine psychology experiments and will greatly help them with the AP exam in May.
I am requesting 15 copies of "Forty Studies that Changed Psychology." This book examines important studies that have influenced the study of psychology. While I have one copy of this book, it is pretty much impossible to copy these studies for 30 students as paper is severely limited.
Your help will ensure that my students have the same chance to pass the AP exam as any other student. Although we are an extreme poverty school, my students are genuinely excited about the study of psychology!
