This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am trying to start a BRAND NEW AP Chemistry class in my school, but we have no materials to get started!

I teach in a new high school in downtown Los Angeles with a large minority immigrant population.

My students all qualify for free or reduced lunch but are so motivated and driven to be successful. Even though few in their family have attended college, these students are striving to be college graduates.

My Project

I am requesting 7 of the recommended labs and lab manual to be completed during an AP Chemistry class. This request is ESSENTIAL in giving students the necessary lab experience to manipulate data, develop and test hypotheses, and draw conclusions. Students will need this lab experience to prepare for the AP test.
