This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be teaching AP African American Studies this school year. My students work hard and want them to have access to quality resources. I would like to add more books by black authors to our class resource library. My goal is for students to use the books as source material for the AP exam. I am a firm believer that giving kids access will encourage them to read.

The donations to this project will help my students recognize the immense impact of African Americans and the diaspora on history.
