This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over seventy-seven percent of our students receiving free lunch. Our students speak a multitude of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are also diverse in their academics as well.

My students are an enthusiastic, eager group of third-grade students who come from very diverse and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our school is a Title One school. My students are excited about learning and want to do well. Our class includes gifted learners, English language learners and students with academic disabilities.

My Project

Having a Wacom tablet and accessories will help us digitally annotate and display live-action work displays. Having the ability to write on screen while teaching to students will help students follow along and know exactly what is being described. They will know where to focus their attention and they will be able to see a seamless transition.

Having the ability to write and annotate displayed lessons directly with students helps the teaching to become more meaningful.

Any way to engage students and keep their learning focused and purposeful, is a productive teaching method.
