Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious creators. They love learning new art techniques and using new mediums. Incorporating an iPad into the art classroom will open the door to virtual art, making STEAM connections at our Magnet STEAM Elementary School. The iPad will give students access to new mediums and apps that will deepen their skills as artists, make connections between art and technology, and expand their horizons.
An iPad will help me teach my students how to animate their artwork.
An iPad will also allow me to capture students' artwork to create a digital art show that can be viewed by families, teachers, and students, year round.
