My Project
Like many other students across the world, our students missed out on valuable developmental time during COVID lockdown and are facing an overwhelming world. During our Advisory classes, we want to support them with developing social-emotional skills, life skills, and support their academic and social development through a variety of engaging activities.
We will use the curriculum book to develop activities around healthy communication, mediation, empathy, and conflict resolution.
The art supplies will be used for self-expression and activities to celebrate our school's diverse cultures through Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month. We will support them in healthy class camaraderie and competition using the board games, magnetic tiles, and puzzles.
