My Project

We are hoping to get the resources to upgrade our school's SmalLab! By securing a motion capture camera, a software and switch upgrade, a motion capture suit, a capture marker set, a course integration, workshop, and subscription, we will be able to give our students a fully integrated animation studio. Our students will have the opportunity to create their own narratives, develop collaborative skills, conduct scientific trajectory experiments, and explore the exciting intersection of art and technology.

This animation studio will be used for so much more than just storytelling; it’s a hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) experience that encourages problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.

With these tools, my students will design characters, build sets, conduct experiments and bring their ideas to life frame by frame, all while gaining confidence in technical and creative skills.

Your support will help provide the equipment needed to make this possible, fostering the next generation of animators, engineers, scientists and storytellers. Together, we can inspire these students to see themselves in STEAM fields and empower them to tell their own stories, one frame at a time.
