Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enrolled in agricultural classes learning about various animal systems. Through these classes, they are learning where their food comes from and how it gets to their homes.
The dissection set, and Osmosis and diffusion sets can be done with space between each student as they look into each part of the digestive system and some learning about cell biology.
For the last two years, students have not been able to learn through real-time, hands-on opportunities, which personally is needed to boost their social-emotional development and give them another avenue to learn about how animals turn food into energy.
