My students need a video camera for our school's popular news show Eagle Eye News. We had a video camera but it was stolen before the winter break, and we need this to help our students.
We are a charter school in the state of Arizona. Our charter was founded in the late 1990's and has been very successful and reputable. It has been nationally and locally ranked among the best schools in the United States.
Our school specializes in the STEM areas; however, we have many other interests in the humanities.
We try to expose our students to many interests as possible to prepare them for college and a career. We are located in a small neighborhood and we boast a variety of cultures in our school.
My Project
The Eagle Eye News is in need of a camera to film our weekly news show. This particular camera is a ladder towards professionalism - an aspect that is needed for our students to obtain as they learn about the media.
The Eagle Eye News show is popular among the students and unfortunately, someone stole our camera before the Winter Break.
This type of camera will enhance our news show and provide our technical team with a better chance to enter and compete in some broadcast journalism contests.
SSA's Eagle Eye News is a grassroots effort as it is the first of its kind at SSA.
