My Project

This is a never done before project for our 6th grade students at DPS. Students have been learning about ancient Mesopotamia, and their civilization's advancements. One unique feature of Mesopotamia is that it was the first ever civilization, and they were the very first people to invent a writing system called cuneiform. Instead of writing on paper like we do today, the Mesopotamians wrote on clay tablets. I am hoping to give your students the full experience of an ancient Mesopotamian while practicing their writing of cuneiform into these modern clay tablets. I am so excited, and I hope they are too!
