Kindergarten is a different world than it used to be. Students are learning more than ever. We, as teachers, must make learning fun and memorable.
My students are young and eager to learn.
Many come straight from home with no school experience. Learning has to be very interesting for this age group! They have short attention spans, but large imaginations! When I use anchor charts to teach, learning becomes fun and memorable.
My Project
We need paper and markers for anchor charts. Anchor charts are made with the students to help them learn concepts. We make many of them each week. The students use their imagination to help me create these charts that enhance their learning. Once we finish a chart, we post it on the wall so students can reference the chart later on. We are also in need of sentence strips. Students make sentences and stories that they can sort in pocket charts.
Anchor charts help students learn concepts such as story elements, writing, and much more!
This is a great tool for learning in the classroom. We also use sentence strips for various activities, such as sequencing a story. With the use of these materials, student learning will be enhanced tremendously!
