My Project

I will use the anchor charts to work whole group with my students. An important part of teaching is discourse and collaberation. Students should be able to share their knowledge, experiences, and culture. There should be good conversations between the teacher and students. Many students are visual learners. Anchor charts are a good way for students to reach their targets of the lesson. We will work together to find the main skills, such as theme, cause/effect, point of view, author's purpose, problem/solution, and characters/plot/setting, Anchor charts can be used for review. My students are very special. They enjoy gathering at the carpet to learn and collaberate. Learning is social. My ELL students can learn from their peers. Using think/pair/share is a good way for students to share their ideas as I write on the anchor chart. The charts can be placed around the room, or on an easil. We can use the charts for review for the weekly tests, as well as standardized test, like MAP or SBAC. Anchor charts are a good way for me to teach and for my students to learn. Thank you so much!
