This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This school year, I have been blessed with a very enthusiastic bunch of second graders who are eager to learn. The only thing that seems to stand in their way is the label of being economically challenged. Not having adequate finances often keeps my students from having sufficient class materials, money for field trips, and sometimes it even prevents them from having reading or class materials to take home to complete assignments.
My scholars deserve the opportunity to be the best they can be in all that they do, no matter their economic or social status.
My Project
The materials requested in this project will allow me to create awesome anchor charts for my students to use when learning.
A great anchor chart is the visual that every student needs to reference every day to be successful.
Students are very visual and they need a model that they can reference as an example when learning. The chart paper, pencils, and markers requested in this project will allow me to do just that. I love creating anchor charts for my students and watching them as they learn to reference them each day.
