Help me give my students printed materials and color charts to help them excellence this school year. The Easel pads will be made into anchor charts using the colored markers and pens.
Let me introduce you to my fourth-grade classroom. It is made up of approximately 40, young mathematicians and scientists who love to explore, investigate and learn. Each day they come in with lots of energy to be channeled in the right direction for math and science. However, they do not always have the necessary materials to do the work. Our school serves students in grades 3-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in the state every year. Our goal is that all students excel to their highest potential.
These fourth graders will someday be our engineers, doctors, and scientists who may discover a cure for cancer.
Despite the fact that our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds, with seventy-five percent of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. These students want to excel. The absentee rate is extremely low among my class and their state test scores are generally above the state average.
My Project
The anchor charts will be made with the students and placed in the classroom where they can refer to them through out the school year as we cover each topic in math. The Ink cartridges will allow me to print out materials which will save students time and they can focus on learning the skill instead of copying all the time. The pencil are basic every child needs one. Colored markers will make everything a little brighter for my students during this time of the pandemic and uncertainty, This project will encourage all of my students and encourage them to want to come to school and learn math.
