This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my second graders this year experience all the amazing art projects they missed out on from losing their Kindergarten year in person! They need to build their skills in cutting paper, drawing, and painting. Some of my students have never even used watercolors! They definitely have never used oil pastels! I can't wait to see their faces light up when they get to experience watercolors and oil pastels for the first time!
Anchor charts are an amazing way to keep a visual for the students on what we are learning currently.
They can reference them anytime and they have input as we create them in class together, which helps motivate them more! Due to limited whiteboard space, this rolling cart will be perfect to use as we create our anchor charts.
Art makes such a difference in a student's life. It allows them to express themselves, motivates them, and learn techniques that will help them become better artists!
