Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The anchor chart and sharpies will enhance collaborative group projects by providing a centralized space for students to visually organize their ideas, document group discussions, and present their findings. These tools will help foster creativity and teamwork as students work together to create visually engaging charts to share their understanding of key concepts. Additionally, the process of creating anchor charts helps students deepen their learning through hands-on, active engagement, which is especially impactful for visual and kin

The primary goal is to encourage collaborative learning and improve student comprehension of key concepts across subjects.

By using anchor charts, students will practice organizing their thoughts, synthesizing information, and presenting it clearly to their peers. This project aims to:

1. Build critical thinking and communication skills.

2. Promote teamwork and active participation during group work.

3. Provide a visual reference for learning that students can revisit throughout the lesson or unit.

My students are a unique group of learners who thrive on collaboration and creativity. Many of them bring diverse perspectives and strengths to the classroom, and they excel when given opportunities to work together on meaningful, hands-on projects. They are also enthusiastic about taking ownership of their learning, and tools like anchor charts help them showcase their individuality while supporting their peers. Their energy, curiosity, and determination to grow academically and socially make them a truly special group to teach.
