Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After the last 2.5 years of COVID adaptations, many classrooms were stripped of various techniques to give to the students for remote learning. All of the teacher's iPads were given out to students so they could access online classes and complete their coursework. We have started moving all of our classrooms into the digital world, but now the teachers are lacking some of that technology to continue to move it forward.
This technology will continue to bridge the gap that was exposed during the pandemic.
The iPad will streamline classroom grading, checking for understanding, and feedback. By having a device that is a touch screen that can be written on, annotations can be completed with ease in order to assist with my students' comprehension! It will also allow me to be removed from the front of the room and allow me to walk among my students as I will be able to remotely control the smartboard and not be tethered to the computer at the front.
