it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am so lucky to have students who LOVE to read! In return, I love to offer a lot of genres, authors, and series to read in my classroom library! So what's the problem? Organization! I really want to organize and label my library so that it is easy for students to find the books they are looking for!
This project will help me create an easy to use, organized library so that my students can easily locate the books that they find interesting!
I teach at a Title I school, where everyone receives free breakfast, and over 75% of our students receive free lunch. Many of my students do not have the required uniform or a backpack on the daily basis. Reading is so important, and it is my belief that books help open the imagination and allow students to experience things that they wouldn't necessarily be able to in their daily lives.
My Project
I am hoping to give my students an enjoyable classroom library that makes the books easily accessible! Books are an incredible learning asset for all students. I have spent the last few years purchasing and collecting books that I know students can learn from and enjoy, but I need a good place to store them!
Bookshelves will help me to organize the books that I have for my students.
