An Organized Library Makes for Independent Readers!

My Project

Each week my students visit the school library to check out books that interest them and spark a love of reading and learning. Watching K-5 students find their favorite book or be introduced to a new, interesting character is a highlight of an elementary school library.

Displaying new and interesting books in creative and appealing ways allows my students to explore and grow their independence in the library.

Creating a comfortable, organized, and joyful library experience for my students will help them grow independence in finding their next favorite story or their favorite non-fiction topic.
