My Students
The students in our room are enrolled at an elementary school in Reno, Nevada. The culture of our school is special, and students maintain a high level of academic achievement, gain ample opportunities to work with the arts and have built a pretty amazing culture over the last 50 years.
In our room, students work hard and strive to be on a path to college, career and civic readiness.
All students enjoy working with challenging and complex materials that ensure academic and social success.
My Project
The classroom that my 23 third graders work in is a converted music room. It lacks the built-in storage and standard furniture typical of a classroom. Consequently, most of what we have is makeshift.
Your donation would help us organize materials in a way more advantageous to the learners.
The Safco Literature Organizer would give students a place to store their materials. The Carolina Multi-Section Storage unit would provide a location for classroom materials including math manipulatives, art resources, and literacy items.
My classroom is student centered and strives to elevate student voice. One thing the students have made clear is their desire to have tools and resources more handy. Your donation would ensure this.
