My students need privacy partitions to help them stay focused during important tests and while doing independent work. They also need white boards to explore possible problem solving strategies in all subject areas.

My Students
I have 24 curious motivated students! They have such a love of learning and especially love our group work lessons. We began the year by setting up and organizing the classroom together. As a result, they take ownership of our classroom and enjoy keeping it organized, clean and neat!
My students come from varied backgrounds, some from single family homes that struggle to have all the necessary school supplies.
Many are from Immigrant families whose parents work two jobs to ensure that their children have all they need to learn and succeed.
My Project
My students need privacy partitions to help them focus on their learning. This may be taking a test or completing independent work. They also need white boards to encourage problem solving activities in group work. Students tend to be afraid of writing what they think might work when solving a math problem. The white boards will eliminate this fear because they know they can erase it easily and it's not their final answer. This helps the children explore how problems can be solved in more than one way. It also emphasizes the idea that what might work for one student may or may not work for another student. Thank you for your consideration.
