My students need supplies, such as a laminator and label maker, to help us stay organized in the classroom.

My Students
My students are awesome! Each year, I am lucky enough to teach honors students who challenge themselves, their peers, and their teachers to always do their best! They work hard and motivate me to work hard with them. We love fun and engaging lessons to push students to their highest ability and to differentiate instruction to meet each one's individual needs. Despite what many people believe, gifted students need the same love and dedication that other students need. They are not "easier" to teach, they just love learning!
My Project
We would like these supplies to start the year in the right direction. Organization in the classroom can be a struggle, and I would like to avoid a lot of those pitfalls with these supplies. One of these items -- pencils -- are like gold in the classroom. We can never seem to find any, so silly, brightly colored pencils will help us locate them quickly and make sure they return to their home. Of course, we will need to use paper in these folders and in other locations to keep students caught up on what they need.
Learning should be the focus in the classroom, not clutter.
It can be difficult to find materials sometimes if everything does not have its own place. For example, keeping students caught up who have been out of the classroom can be very challenging. There is no designated space for work from past days. Labeling will allow students to quickly identify what they are searching for in the classroom. I like to keep the classroom visually appealing, but it is hard to find storage for bulletin board borders. Currently they are crammed in a drawer that I'm afraid to open! The organizer will de-clutter the drawer and provide additional storage space.
Students do many activities with personal sized dry erase boards, but currently we have no productive cleaning system in place. Having a dozen erasers will allow for easier clean up of the boards, and we can create a nice space where all items can live. Dry-erase markers die all the time, and having more will allow us to keep pertinent information at the front of the class. With those, though, come smears and grease that leave the board looking dirty and unwelcoming. The Expo cleaning spray will solve this problem.
