My Students
My PreK scholars are amazing! They are the only full day class in our school. They are eager to learn and love being in school. Our school is very diverse and takes pride in welcoming and engaging all scholars and families. We are committed to creating a school where kids feel safe, loved, and motivated.
As a school, we take pride in creating an environment where we celebrate diversity, discuss and study racial equity, and "inspire all scholars to reach high levels of social and academic achievement and to become future leaders through a collaborative system of support" (our school's mission statement).
My Project
Having a new shelf with colorful bins will help us organize materials in our classroom. Having an organized system is so important to promote clean up and understanding how to keep our classroom clean. My scholars take pride in putting our materials in their special place around the room.
One of our classroom jobs is the “Inspector”, a scholar who specializes in organizing our room for the day.
My scholars love the responsibility of going around the room as the “inspector” to make sure everything is in its place. The more shelves and bins we have, the easier it is for us to stay organized and to give everything a special place in our room!
