An iPod Will Provide a Plethora of Possibilities in Our Room
My students need access to technology using an iPod. They will use many education apps, read ebooks, take pictures for our class blog, create movies, & listen to math music.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Kids love new technology! My students are thrilled at the possibility of having access to so many great educational apps, reading books on the ipod, as well as taking pictures for our classroom blog! The whole class agreed it would motivate them to do their best to have a chance to spend time on it!
My students are wonderful!
Although we are in a high poverty area, they have a love of learning and respond so well to new things! This is a third grade class and the students are strengthening their reading skills. They are making the transition from 'learning to read' to 'reading to learn.' It is a critical time in their educational life!
My Project
The possibilities of what can be done on the ipod are almost endless!! It takes pictures, movies can be created on it (a great way to do reports!), load hundreds of educational apps, play educational music, use voice memos to improve fluency, and of course read on ibooks at the students' interest and reading levels. It is a great way to differentiate instruction to meet each of the student's individual needs!
Because of the variety of ways an ipod can be used, it will meet so many various needs within our classroom!
