My Students
I have been teaching High School Science, Physics & Biology for 16 years and run after school STEM and Robotics clubs as well.
The material I am requesting for this project is an iPad mini device.
I hope that by obtaining this device I will be able to improve my content presentation skills by using Apps such as Doceri to make my lectures more interactive and appealing to my students. I would also like to learn and apply classroom management Apps such as Class Dojo with this device. My students will benefit directly and immediately from my ability to learn and apply these Apps in my classroom.
My Project
The Apps mentioned above are just two examples of the many that are available that having this device will allow me to use with my students. It is my hope that once I have the iPad I will continue to discover many more Apps that will directly improve their experience in my classes.
This chance for professional development will directly impact my classroom both in management aspects as well as presentation abilities.
Both of these skills will have a positive and enriching effect on my students.
