My Students
Just like most public schools throughout the country, our schools were shut down due to the Coronavirus in March. My students were greatly impacted by this change in their regular schedule. Students, and teachers alike, were forced to now move from an in-person classroom setting to an online model. For some, this was an easy transition. For others, this was a huge struggle that created many obstacles.
My Project
With the use of an iPad and education apps, I will be able to create more meaningful lessons for my students as we utilize virtual learning. I would be able to create high quality videos with specific concept instruction that would allow my students to learn the content and have the opportunity to revisit the lessons later if needed for review. An iPad would also afford me the opportunity to have more access to student work and allow me to provide feedback to them quicker. My students would be able to connect with me more effectively and efficiently.
