An Ipad, Computer Monitor and Headphones to Increase Student Engagement
Help me give my students headphones, a computer monitor, an ipad and a web camera.

My Students
I teach a class of energetic first graders at a Title 1 school. Many students in my class come from low income families and some are English language learners.
My students love to build, create, and use their imaginations.
They are very active and eager to learn. They are also hard workers.
My Project
An ipad would help increase student engagement during in- person and virtual lessons. It would also help build essential internet and technology skills.
All my students need headphones which cover both ears to reduce distracting background noise and help students concentrate.
A second computer monitor in the classroom would allow the use of multiple programs by teachers improving lesson plans so as to increase student engagement and learning.
A web cam with a ring light would help reduce shadows and blurry images making it easier for students to focus and therefore, learn.
