This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students LOVE school! They love to come to school. They love to come into THEIR classroom. They love to work with their classmates. They love to learn.
Kids deserve a great, comfortable and safe environment.
They need materials and their setting to be harmless and happy. They need to know that they are being taken care of and feel good about their surroundings.
My children need to have a classroom that is pleasant and allows them to grow and learn everyday.
My Project
Technology is an essential part of education and my classroom is in need of keeping up with the technology. The more devices we have the easier it is to practice and learn so many skills. My students are just beginning to learn how to use tablets. They are curious about the keyboard and downloading and swiping. They will be able to read and build on math skills. They also get to practice the unexpected - like tracing letters of the alphabet to support fine motor skills and printing. Of course the benefits are seemingly endless. The learning potential is unavoidable.
