I am a third year teacher at Cobble Hill School of American Studies. I will be teaching a new elective this upcoming year called "Introduction to Wall Street". Students will learn all that can be taught from what common stocks and bonds are, how stocks are traded, how they can get involved and many many other topics.
Too many of our high school students leave school without the knowledge necessary to go out into the world and be successful. With this class, my students will develop the background necessary to determine whether they would like to pursue a career on Wall Street.
These books will serve as the textbook for this class. Without them, the curriculum will be based on my knowledge as an MBA in finance and will lack the guidance that this book can offer.
